«Nijnekamskneftekhim» — a Russian petrochemical company, one of the major specialised enterprises in Europe. «Nijnekamskneftekhim» is the largest producer of synthetic rubber and raw materials for its synthesis in Russia.
VSP presented solutions on Parker Hannifin instrumentation products to specialists of NijnekamskNeftekhim.
A VSP Regional representative in Ufa, Marat Yakhin, particupated in the trip to Nijnekamsk. The main task facing VSP specialists was (1) to tell the customer about new Parker Hannifin developments and some other activity lines of the company, to discuss the customer’s practical technical questions related to operation of the equipment; (2) to discuss plans for 2017 for refurbishment of installations and construction of new sites, as well as possibilities to develop relationship with the customer, and to agree further steps for coordinated actions already in the new year.
All these tasks were fulfilled. Apart from a number of additional technical questions on Parker Hannifin solutions which require some further discussion with the manufacturer, the customer expressed interest and willingness to consider some latest developments on another VSP activity line — MTL Intrinsically safe interfaces and systems. An appropriate business trip is included in the plan for 2017.

«Nijnekamskneftekhim» is the largest producer of synthetic rubber and raw materials for its synthesis in Russia. Apart from general and special types of rubber the range of products include polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene; monomers as feedstock to produce rubber and plastics; other petrochemical products (ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, alpha-olefins, surfactants).
«Nijnekamskneftekhim» came third in the world and the first in Russia to produce halobutyl rubber. As of 2008 a captive electricity generation unit is operational - a gas turbine power block; alongside with this the company remains to be a major electricity and thermal energy consumer in Tatarstan.
According to the results of the annual report for 2015, the company transferred a total of 16,836 million rubles of tax deductions to the budgets of all levels, being one of the main taxpayers of the republic. Total revenue amounted to 166.7 billion rubles. Product volume: 2.4 million tons. 48% of finished products are exported to 53 countries.
